About BlackGreenSolidarity

if you want to join, or know of people, communities or grassrootscampaigns
that could benefit from being on the BlackGreen Solidarity email list,
dr.woooo@nomasters.org
It's a grassroots network aiming to increase solidarity and awareness of Black and Green Issues, and by recognising the two issues are one- Indigenous people have always had a sacred connection to land
This list came out of the Students of Sustainability conference in
melbourne in july 2004, after Indigenous Elder's called out for help to stop the genocide of their people, culture and land.
This list is to communicate and network across Indigenous Nations and the environmental movement
It is open to all people who support Indigenous struggles, and also to aid Indigenous people to spread the word on what is happening in their
communities, and what is happening to their land.
It also encourages contributions from Indigenous Rights and environmental campaigners.
Education and solidarity in action is what is hoped this list can
facilitate amongst its participants.
"Aboriginal Sovereignty over Australia has never been ceded by invasion
or time."
Wiradjuri Elder Uncle Neville 'Chappy' Williams
